Acacia Serving Tray with Slate

Thoughtfully designed and richly material in its character, this acacia serving tray with slate introduces a compelling combination of natural materials that elevates everyday serving and surface styling into a considered decorative moment.

The acacia timber frame or border provides warmth, structural integrity, and organic visual interest, whilst the slate insert offers a contrasting surface that is cool to the touch, naturally varied in its tonal depth, and perfectly suited to serving cheese, charcuterie, and cold accompaniments.

The juxtaposition of warm timber and cool slate creates a material pairing that feels both rustic and refined, adding genuine character and tactile variety to a table or surface setting.

The slate surface provides a practical serving platform that maintains the temperature of cold foods, and its naturally textured surface prevents items from sliding during serving.

It can also be written on with chalk, allowing for a personal and informal labelling of cheeses or dishes — a detail that adds a convivial, considered touch to an entertaining spread.

Durably constructed from sustainably sourced acacia and natural slate, the tray is built for long-term use, with materials that improve in character with care and develop a richer patina over time.

Within a kitchen or dining context, it functions as both a practical serving piece and a decorative surface accessory, sitting naturally on a kitchen island, a dining table, or a drinks trolley as a characterful and functional centrepiece.
