Privacy
We keep the details we need to fulfil your order, run your account, and — only with consent — send the journal and offers. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store card numbers. On product pages we load Stripe’s Payment Method Messaging Element so any buy-now-pay-later wording comes from Stripe and Klarna, not from us — UK advertising rules require that. Stripe may use cookies and IP addresses to know which payment options you saw. Stripe’s privacy notice is on stripe.com/privacy.
The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to stop automated spam. Google may collect device and usage data for that check. Google’s notices are on policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/terms. Contact messages are emailed to us and are not stored in our shop database.
After you pay, we may show a Google Customer Reviews opt-in on the thank-you page. If you agree, Google sends a survey after the estimated delivery date. That passes Google your email, order number, delivery country, and estimated delivery date. See cookies and Google’s privacy policy.
Necessary cookies run the bag and sign-in. We count visits ourselves without extra cookies. Third-party analytics and ads load only if you allow them, on cookies.
How long we keep data. Order and payment records are kept for six years for tax and accounting. If you ask us to erase your account, we remove your login, addresses, marketing preferences, open bags, alerts, and newsletter signup, and we strip names and addresses from those orders while keeping the financial history. First-party visit analytics are kept for about 14 months (search terms up to 36 months). Discontinued catalogue items stay archived for up to 12 months, then are removed from the shop (your past order lines keep the product title and SKU).
We do not sell your details. You can ask for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to hello@quinceandclay.co.uk.
